District of Calamity

Some consider the Nation’s Capital as “Fantasyland on the Potomac”. Other outsiders are “Fed Up” with the Federal City. It's better to consider D.C. as “the District of Calamity” (sic).

Press-ing Hypocrisy

Chris Plante is wont to say that:  "If it wasn't for double standards, Democrats would have no standards at all."  This obviously includes Democrats with media credentials in the White House press corps.  The latest White House press briefing included the perennial gotcha game, trying to make headlines cajoling (really pestering) the Press Secretary to mouth phrases that can be spun into controvery.  But it also had Press behaving badly.  The credential questioners turns into a filibustering debate with the President's Spokesperson, and not stopping until they got their prize.

Much like her boss, Kaylee McEnany is raring to counterpunch and put the Press in their place.  The media was having a melt down over the debate, when President Trump refused to be slandered by his opponent and interjected challenges.  McEneny pointed out their hypocrisy.
